There are three regional money advice forum groups who meet regularly; one in Truro, one in Plymouth and one in Exeter.  Members come from all advice agencies in the Devon and Cornwall areas.  The meetings are an excellent means of networking, sharing information and good practice as well as being able to have presentations from national speakers.

The key aims are to:

• Raise and develop money advice services:
  The forums work to further develop and deliver high quality money advice, promote best practice and provide comprehensive, affordable and accessible money advice-focused training courses.
• Work in partnership for the benefit of clients:
  The forums are coordinated and client focused.  Members openly share their expertise and information in order to provide a coherent money-advice service for Devon & Cornwall.  Common referral/signposting mechanisms are being worked on.
• Share information:
  The forums meet regularly and share appropriate levels of information and skills.  Speakers are be invited from relevant agencies working in the field and especially from the credit sector. In addition a monthly newsletter is distributed to all members at the beginning of the month

There forums each meet three times a year and are open to any agency providing significant money advice in Devon & Cornwall
